Leading Worship for Your Church

It's a privilege to be able to lead worship for my Church in Canterbury and be employed a couple of days a week to do so. Since lockdown started I began something called "Come and Sing with Me" so each weekday morning I'd be leading worship and many Churches joined in with that. This Winter because of the pandemic my usual part time photography and music work has been cancelled. I've started recording and leading worship live for other Churches. I'm offering my services to any Churches that would value someone leading them in praise. Maybe your worship team is stretched at the moment or technology is proving difficult or you want someone different for a particular service.

I've had great joy leading in larger settings (like Keswick and Word Alive) and in smaller settings (house groups and small Church plants). When I lead whatever the setting I love to bring encouragement from scripture, make much of Jesus through the songs and leave time for people to pray and reflect. I've got a bank of 150-200 songs that I can use including hymns, contemporary and originals.

I'm able to lead live on Zoom with my acoustic or piano. The sound quality is aided by using a condenser microphone and the video quality is helped by using a DSLR camera.

I'm able to pre-record a time of worship or separate songs for your Church. This can be done using the same set up that I've mentioned.

I'm able to come and lead live in your Church's building

“His musicianship and the quality of the video/sound is superb but even more striking is how he takes on board the context of our church and leads worship in such a way that seems 'personal to us'. There are no distractions, his leadership is clear and confident and his personal worship of Jesus is contagious! I could not recommend him any more highly - he is a gift to the church!”

“Worship leading is so much more than just being musical. You need to trust the leader. Olly is a leader you can truly trust. Olly has an unusual ability to blend joy and reverence. The immediate sense of love for Olly as a worship leader from the Sanctuary family was marked. I thoroughly recommend Olly as a guest zoom worship leader””

Use the "Contact" page to get in touch and ask me about serving at your Church. Most Churches have typically given £150-£250 plus travel (if applicable) to support my family and I.

"We loved having Olly join us on Zoom to lead live worship on Sunday morning. He was so eager to serve us and fit in with what we needed rather than having his own pre-set agenda. Our congregation were really encouraged. They particularly appreciated his sensitivity and gentleness. We asked him to do one of his lockdown songs and people really connected to that.'

"We've had the joy of inviting Olly to serve our church plant through monthly worship leading during the COVID pandemic. As a relatively new plant with limited resources it has been excellent to be able to invite Olly in to support our worship leaders by giving them space to rest from leading us every week online. Olly has taken time to understand our approach to worship and has been excellent in his ability to engage our people through welcome, personal encouragement, leading and prayer. It's a joy for us to practically support Olly as well knowing that his usual income streams have been frustrated during this season, so everyone benefits from Olly supporting us in such a practical and helpful way. I'd highly recommend Olly to every context!"

Gordon Watson, Hope Church, Sittingbourne
